In the Apostle John’s epistle we have him trying to tell us a very important truth about our Messiah Yeshua, that honestly, I never realized my whole young life. Let’s look at two verses in particular.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1 (The “Word”s are already capitalized in my bible. John knows!)
And:
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,…
John 1:14a (“Word” is already capitalized in my bible.)
We have heard those verses all our lives and I usually would have just skimmed over them for decades, but try to read them slowly, letting each word soak into your soul. To be honest, from our abstract English, noun-based way of looking at things, those verses were just nice, abstract verses with little concrete meaning. It was not until I learned some concrete-based, verb-based Hebrew that the bible really popped with meaning!
What John is trying desperately to convey is: Yeshua = the Word of Eloheim = Torah/the Law = Yeshua!
Yeshua even tells us FOUR times in His Revelation to John, written specifically to our generation, that He is, in fact, the Aleph Tav. No one has seen the connection for nearly 2,000 years because the translators wrote what He said in Greek, instead of the Hebrew He would have been speaking, but they’ve been there all along! Hidden. Concealed until our last generation! (Last, as in, of this era.)
“I am the Aleph and the Tav, Beginning and End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” ~ Rev 1:8. (Not the Greek “Alpha and Omega” which has no meaning.)
May I just point out four examples, just in Exodus, where we have Yeshua being represented as the Alef Tavs, showing Yeshua as the Word of Eloheim? I would encourage you to verify these for yourself in any bible search engine because I am no teacher. My mission is only to point out things that I’m sure any seeker would discover on their own in time! 😉 But since time is short…

In the original Hebrew is where we see it! Do you see the Alef (א) and Tav (ת), written as את? And here is another instance:

saying, “I am the Aleph and the Tav, the First and the Last,”…
Rev 1:11a – Yeshua to the Apostle John

“And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Aleph and the Tav, the Beginning and the End…” – Rev 21:6a

“I am the Aleph and the Tav, Beginning and End, the First and the Last.”
Rev 22:6 – Yeshua again to the Apostle John
Yeshua is not speaking idle words.
Yeshua, shown to us through the Hebrew Alef Tav, IS all the Words of Eloheim! There are many more examples like this all throughout the older testament. These have just been examples in Exodus only. I will show examples elsewhere, in time. The Word is eternal as Yeshua is eternal! Think about that the next time you hear someone say “the Word has been done away with”. They do not understand the magnitude of the error in which they speak.
If you’re still not sure what is being said, I apologize for not explaining it better. Please take a look at the blog entitled – the Mysterious Aleph Tav, where hopefully I explain it better, linked here: https://wp.me/pcgXR4-18
May these blogs bless you as you seek Him! Shalom to you, b’shem (in the name of) Yeshua haMashiach. ❤
