Yeshua/Jesus in Isa 63:11

Hello Friends! I hope your day is going very well so far! We have another special treasure to reveal to you today, this time in Isaiah. The set of verses we will look at hint at Yeshua already in the plain text but we also have a stand-alone Aleph Tav to confirm who Isaiah is speaking of. Turn in your bible to Isaiah 63. We will begin in verse 8 and read through verse 10 to give our verse 11 some context.

Isa 63:8 - For He said, “Surely they are My people,
Children who will not lie.”
So He became their Savior.

9 - In all their affliction He was afflicted,
And the Angel of His Presence saved them;
In His love and in His pity He redeemed them;
And He bore them and carried them
All the days of old.

10 - But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;
So He turned Himself against them as an enemy,
And He fought against them.

“Savior” above is “Moshiah”. Same root as Mashiach/Messiah. = לְמוֹשִֽׁיעַ

So Isaiah is already speaking about Yeshua. Then verse 11 says:

(There is no “with the” before shepherd in the Hebrew.) אֵת רֹעֵי צֹאנוֹ

Yeshua is the Shepherd of His flock, the Good Shepherd! He is also the one who sent the Helper, the Spirit of truth!

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain!

Today is the first day of the 4th Hebrew month so have a great month, or as they say in Israel, rosh chodesh tov!

It's not about me, it's about my Father, His holy, unchanging Word, Yeshua made flesh! No ear tickling here. (And maybe a couple of posted recipes that I've been unable to find online elsewhere. 😉)
