Today’s devotional will show you a witness of Yeshua in 1 Samuel with a sickle, but first, let’s determine Yeshua connected to sickles in the newer testament. Turn in your bible to Revelation 14:14, which reads:

The verses in chapter 14 continue, describing Yeshua doing the reaping:

John continues in Revelation by describing an angel reaping the earth with a sickle too. You should read that too on your own. 😉
But if you’ll turn to 1 Samuel 13:20, I will show you where Yeshua is represented and then you can confirm it for yourself in your blueletterbible search engine. The verse reads in English:

Nothing stands out in that verse in English but if you look at the original Hebrew you would see our stand-alone Aleph Tav with a vav (ואת) preceeding “and his sickle”. (To me it seems the Alef Tavs with vavs represent Yeshua’s second coming with a sword (🗡️ = ו).)

Below is a photo from my bible. I photoshopped yellow underlining under the 3 alef tavs that are NOT stand-alone. Our Alef Tav vav, circled in pink in front of “sickle” is the only unhyphenated Alef Tav. 😁

I wholeheartedly believe Yeshua when He tells us four times in Revelation that He is the Aleph Tav (1:8, 1:11, 21:6 & 22:13). (He would have been speaking Hebrew to John, not Greek. The translators changed what He said, hopefully unknowingly.) Yeshua was trying to show us all the times He is scattered throughout the Word of Eloheim. Yeshua IS the Word, made flesh, who dwelt among us and will again with those who follow His example!
Soon…very soon! Bo Yeshua! (Come Yeshua!) Quickly!
