Our Creator’s Word is the Torah, the Law. It is also the books we call the Prophets (eg. -Those books that constantly say: “Thus sayeth the LORD”, or “and the LORD said to Jeremiah/Ezekiel/Isaiah/Zechariah”/etc..) The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, so Yeshua’s teachings align with the Creator’s. Yeshua calls the Creator Father and the Father calls Yeshua Son. That is firmly established. We also have a father but who is our father?
Yeshua says something that none of us want to hear on judgment day.
Yeshua also says something that is just as shocking to the Pharisees. He said:
That verse makes crystal clear that the devil, satan, the adversary is a liar and a murderer. A law breaker, or lawless. In John 6:70, Yeshua calls one of His Apostles a devil, so we know that the devil is also a betrayer. And a deceiver:
Those are traits which contradict the Truth, as set forth by the Father in His Torah. David says it beautifully in Psalm 119:
And John confirms it AFTER Yeshua’s resurrection:
The Father can not abide near sin which is shown to us repeatedly with the children of Israel and the Father does not change.
On the other hand, satan/the devil wants nothing better than to do away with the Father’s Torah. He says things like: “The Law has been done away with” or “the Law was nailed to the cross”, or “Jesus died so that we don’t have to keep the Law”, or “now we are under grace” (which the lawless take to mean that we can sin whenever we want and still be saved. How does that make them any different from satan? Satan will NOT be in the kingdom. Need proof? Read Revelation.) Yeshua would never, ever say any of those things, nor did He. He IS the Father’s Word made flesh and He lives forever which means the Father’s Word lives forever.
The devil wants you to eat ham, bacon and pork chops. He probably laughs with glee every time you eat those abominable animals, like catfish or shrimp because he knows that doing so keeps you as his property. It keeps you from being holy to YHVH.
John explains it best:
1 John 3:4 – Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Are you lawless/Torahless? Or do you follow Yeshua, who kept His Father’s Torah perfectly? Not because He was trying to earn His salvation, but out of love for His Father. Perfection should be all of YHVH’s children’s goal out of love for our Father. We want to please our Father. We want to hear Him say: This is My beloved son/ daughter in whom I am well pleased.
Consider Yeshua’s parable of the sower:
Yeshua speaking more about the lawless:
Are you a child of the lawless devil or are you a child of YHVH?
Shalom, b’shem Yeshua ha’Mashiach 💕
