Did you know that if we followed Yeshua we would have a guaranteed Sabbath off each week, a day off for New Moon day each month, two days off for Passover/Feast of Unleavened Bread, a day off for Feast of Weeks (Shavuot), a day off for Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and a week off in the fall for Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot)!

In our lives, joy is only mentioned around Christmas and once that holiday is over, the depression of overstretched credit kicks in on top of the anticlimactic finality of it all. But we’re focusing on joy, so let’s move on. 🤓

Following Yeshua, when I say a day off, it doesn’t mean that you are just off work but then have to clean house, wash dishes, cook, laundry, etc., etc. You shut everything down, in most cases. With a little forethought and planning, it’s easy. Once you’re doing it, contrary to the rest of the world, it makes you feel like a rebel. Because you basically are! A rebel against the system! A rebel against Satan, the most successful slave master of all time. But I digress. 😇

There are so many verses that I could add to this post, but maybe searching “joy” in a bible search engine for yourself would be more beneficial.
What I’m trying to convey is that you can have joy in YHVH year long! Not just for a few days. 💕
