ET (את) oath of YHVH

Shalom friends! Today’s Aleph Tav treasures can be found in 1 Kings 2:43 and 44.

If you are new to the Alef Tav concept of Yeshua being represented by the stand-alone את all throughout the older testament, see this blog: https://wp.me/pcgXR4-18 or see the short YouTube here: https://youtu.be/d94gqNbR9Zc

In 1 Kings 2:43, we have Solomon talking to Shimei. The same Shimei from yesterday who had cursed David back in 2 Sam 16:5-12. Solomon had put him under oath to stay in Jerusalem, or else he will die. Well, he left Jerusalem, so this is where we are in the story. Solomon is about to have Shimei executed. And this is what Solomon says to him:

And Solomon continues, with another stand-alone Alef Tav:

Do you think Shimei may have been crying?

And then the chapter concludes thus:

45) “But King Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before YHVH forever.”

46) ¶So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he went out and struck him down, and he died. Thus the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

Do you think Solomon added the unhyphenated Alef Tavs here because he knew that the Messiah was witness to the oath? I’m sure Solomon in his wisdom knew that Yeshua (את) was the Testimony, which is the same as witness. It will be so interesting to hear the true meanings of all these unhyphenated Alef Tavs in the Kingdom from Yeshua Himself. The meanings are probably too deep for us to comprehend in this worldly form, but it’s still fun to try figuring them out!

Have a blessed day as you bless YHVH! 💗

It's not about me, it's about my Father, His holy, unchanging Word, Yeshua made flesh! No ear tickling here. (And maybe a couple of posted recipes that I've been unable to find online elsewhere. 😉)
