A copy of Matthew in an ancient form of Hebrew not written today, was found back in the 15th century. It is said to be the oldest known copy of Matthew and it is thought that it was written even before the epistle was translated into Greek. It is known as Shem Tov’s Hebrew Matthew. The photo above shows a small clippet of Matthew, chapter 1, verse 25.

If the Father wants His son to be called Yeshua then that’s what I will call Him! 😉 Since the angel of YHVH told Joseph to call the Messiah, Yeshua, then, by golly, that’s what I will call Him too! Because He saved (y’hoshia יהושיע) me from my sins!
