Yeshua and taxes

In Matt 17, we have an account of Peter being asked by the tax collector of Capernaum if Yeshua pays taxes. The verses read: Mat 17:24 – When they had come to Cafer’nachum, those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?” 25) He said,
