YHVH: “…My food…”

Does the Almighty eat? You don’t ever hear of anyone talking about it but let’s see what He has to say.

In last week’s Torah portion there was a verse that implies that He does. It reads:

Ok, the doubting Thomases out there may not count that verse as proof that Yah eats but consider this verse in Num 28:

Come on, Thomases! You’ve gotta count that verse!

Talking about sacrifices is the quickest way to turn someone off, but if you’re familiar with Numbers chapters 28 & 29, you know that the Creator really knows how to hold a world-class, first-rate barbeque!! The priests got some, the offerer got some and even YHVH got some! It had to be amazing times at Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) and Passover in Jerusalem back in the day!! They were parties not to be missed! And if you are into drinking, Yah encouraged you to drink, according to His word. For example:

Not to mention all the wine offerings.

If you’re not that familiar with what is written in the Torah (Gen-Deut), it may surprise you. You ought to read it, especially if you believe in Yeshua (Jesus), since He is the Word (Torah) made flesh!

It seems that I got a little off track. 😇 Back to food for the Almighty…

Evidently, He also eats honey pastries like the angels, according to Ezekiel 16:19. And then there is another verse in Eze 28 we should consider:

Ezekiel tells us of a future time in the millennium of peace when Yeshua is reigning while ha’satan is bound in chains, that the temple will have been rebuilt and that the sacrifices will be reinstituted. We will be offering peace offerings, burnt offerings, sin offerings, grain offerings, trespass offerings, etc.! Just read Ezekiel chapters 40-48. It’s all in there! Including this 😉:

We will once again be celebrating with Yeshua at His barbeques!! I am looking so forward to those times!

Bo Yeshua! (Come Yeshua!)

It's not about me, it's about my Father, His holy, unchanging Word, Yeshua made flesh! No ear tickling here. (And maybe a couple of posted recipes that I've been unable to find online elsewhere. 😉)
